Tenure Track Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in Immunology and Pathogen-host interactions
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure track position of Assistant/Associate Professor with a research focus in immunology and pathogen-host interactions. Applicants in the field of immune responses to microbial infections in experimental animal models are particularly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
SBS is searching for individuals with a well-defined research vision, with an excellent track record of publications and with exceptional promise to establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching, particularly in the area of Immunology.
SBS covers several areas of research encompassing genetic, structural, biochemical and cellular investigator-led projects offering many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations not only within the school but also with other departments in the university. SBS/NTU offers cutting edge infrastructures, such as state-of-the-art animal facilities (inclusive germ-free mice), biosafety level 3 laboratories, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and proteomics facilities.
Qualifications: The candidate must hold a relevant PhD , preferably in Biology along with substantial postdoctoral training in Immunology.
